About Canillas de Aceituno
Nestled high in the Axarquía region of Málaga, this white-washed village clings to the slopes of La Maroma, the highest peak in the Sierra Tejeda. This delightful place, offers a taste of authentic Andalusian life with breathtaking panoramic views stretching all the way to the Mediterranean Sea.

Pure tranquility is what you will find in the two well designed bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. Both offer comfortable mattresses and space for hanging and folded clothes. Each room has its own private bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet, and hairdryer. Bed linen and towels are included.

Experience true luxury with your private saltwater pool and breathtaking views. Enjoy four adjustable sun loungers that come with beach towels and two parasols. A separate seating area has also been created with two stylish chairs to relax into.

Additionally, the natural beauty surrounding the turquoise Lake Viñuela is well worth a visit.

In approximately 1,5 hour drive from Villa Zendo you get to explore Sierra Nevada. Amazing nature, a unique combination of sunny days and snow-capped peaks. Ski and snowboard up to an impressive 3300 meters, with slopes catering to both beginners and advanced riders. You can also enjoy other snow activities.
Nerja
This delightful coastal town is famous for its great beaches, crystal-clear waters, and the spectacular views from the iconic Balcón de Europa. Nerja blends authentic Andalusian charm with natural beauty and a relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle. Enjoy a variety of watersports along the coast, including kayaking, paddleboarding (SUP), snorkeling, diving and catamaran sailing (www.marinalia.es). Hi, we are Jeanien and Jarno, the enthusiastic owners of Villa Zendo. During a holiday in 2024, we were enchanted by the magic of Andalusia. The landscape, the skies, the architecture, the passion, the authenticity ~ it touched something essential in us and felt like coming home. And so our dream was born: to create a home in this beautiful region. After a search, everything came together at the location of Villa Zendo. As interior designers, we have given it our personal touch and love to share this special place with people who also appreciate what it has to offer.
